One of THQ Nordic's E3 2019 announcements was Destroy All Humans, a full-blown PlayStation 4 remake of the original game. We've not seen a whole lot of the game itself, aside from a handful of screenshots, but Geoff Keighley managed to secure the very first gameplay footage on his ongoing E3 Coliseum livestream.
The clip isn't long, but it gives you an idea of how the game is shaping up. The couple of minutes are taken from the very start of the game, when Crypto begins causing havoc at an American farm. We see some flying saucer based action, as well as a few shots from cutscenes.
The game is still in pre-alpha, so it's a long way off yet. It's coming to PS4 next year. What do you think of this early look at gameplay? Use your death ray in the comments below.

Still looks like a last Gen game at best - just look at the human character models and faces for example. Doesn't look like a 'built from the ground up' current gen game with current gen visuals as claimed to me...
I think they made that look on purpose. A modern yet classic feel. It is a wait a see, but I'm glad they are redoing it. The first iteration was definitely a classic.
@BAMozzy It’s still a definite improvement over the original with new npc in cutscenes, obvious visual upgrades but yeah I agree it looks more like a last gen game rather than ‘built from the ground up’ for this gen. I have the original on Xbox One that’s X enhanced so I see no reason to get this unless it’s really cheap in a sale.
Man the game I'll buy on 2020 is increasing, there's cyberpunk 2077, final fantasy 7 remake, and now this?
Guys it's not just about 'looking next gen,' it's a remake.
The game is a faithful recreation of the original using the Unreal Engine 4.
It will be longer than the original with new weapons and abilities and restored cut content, like the Lost Mission of Area 42.
The cutscenes are being revamped and many characters will have larger roles with more dialogue. Development Director Onurhan Karaagacli has stated he’d especially like to better flesh out the two Majestic agents seen at the very beginning of the game.
Black Forest Studios is remaking the game from scratch.
Onurhan Karaagacli’s team is set to hopefully release the game as early as Spring 2020.
Controls have been improved and they include new moves like a dash.
Content wise it will be 100% faithful, but with all the cut content and extra features Onurhan Karaagacli guesstimates the game will be from 30 to 40 hours in length, whereas one could beat the original in just under 6 hours if only playing the story missions. He has said to not quote him on that number just yet though.
The game will be open world.
The game is confirmed for PS4, XB1 and PC.
The audio from the original is being repurposed for the remake.
PK will be usable in tandem with the weapons, similarly to Path of the Furon.
@SWJS
If all of that is true, that would be very nice indeed. I'm also hoping they fix the stupid way the UFO leaves the game world and make collecting DNA less tedious.
