So, let us get this straight. EA wrapped up its EA Play 2019 livestream a couple of hours ago, but decided to focus on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay and updates for its existing titles instead of new game reveals. Now, those reveals we had hoped for have come about via an IGN article detailing three new EA Originals games.
It's an odd way to announce them, because an indie title reveal here and there would have done wonders to break up the monotony of the livestream, but here we are. Again, courtesy of IGN, we now know that developers Hazelight Studios, Zoink! Games, and Glowmade are all launching new games as part of the program.
Zoink! Games, who just released the phenomenal Ghost Giant for PSVR, is making something called Lost in Random. It's pitched as a "blend of strategy and action that explores the notion of chance and possibility, set within a beautifully dark and vivid world." Hazelight's game wasn't given a name, but it is said to "give players a fresh new take on the challenges of working together." Therefore, expect an experience similar to that of A Way Out and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
Meanwhile, Glowmade is developing a title called RustHeart, a co-op action RPG. It is said to blend tactical action roleplaying with player invention as part of an adventure across an alien multiverse. What do you make of these three new titles? Anything take your fancy? Why on earth would they not announce it on the stream, doing it this way gives the impression that EA don't think their big enough or important enough to be on there.
"Zoink" is the noise EA make when they get money of you.
"A new way to play, complete freedom in your game choices."
@eltomo Zoinks!
"A way out" was excellent I'd gladly pick up something from hazelight if it has anywhere near the same quality.

Honestly I have no trust anymore in EA, Activision and the-likes. I gladly support smaller studios and watch Bethesda and company burn from the edge of the playing field. Slow clap and all.
Why didn't they let the guy from a Way Out present the whole show is something that I will never forgive...
@TalentedAtGames Then why bother financing them if their not going to show them off properly. I hate this attitude that small independent games don't deserve the same attention as the AAAs.
