With the release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr next month, the game will be getting a brand new character class: the Necromancer. As you'd expect, this powerful looking play style is all about reanimating the dead and making use of dangerous magics. You can learn all about it via the expansion's new in-depth trailer, which we've embedded above.
The Necromancer will be the sixth playable character class in The Elder Scrolls Online. The game started out with four -- Dragonknight, Sorcerer, Nightblade, and Templar -- before the Warden class was added alongside 2017's Morrowind expansion.

Excited to give this new class a go. ESO has really come a long ways from its weak beginning. Think it is simply the best MMO out there right now, especially if you pop for the ESO Plus model. Really, really good.
I'm a long time player, but am having a break from ESO at the moment. Will definitely give Elsweyr a go when it launches though. Necromancer looks pretty cool.
I have been on the fence with ESO for awhile now. One of these days I'll pull the trigger. How solo friendly is it?
@Tasuki You can play about 90% of the whole game solo if you want. Incredibly solo friendly. Only things you can't do solo are the co-op dungeons, and they're optional.
@ShogunRok Ok so basic quests in the world are soloable that's good to hear. I expect dungeons and raids to need groups but I don't want to be unable to do simple quests.
@Tasuki Yeah I felt the same way before I started playing. Playing solo locks you out of no main story-based content at all, and there's a hell of a lot of it. At this point, game's absolutely gigantic.
Might get this as ESO has been one of the games I've played most on the PS4.
Haven't forgiven ZOS for ruining the Wood Elf racial passives though. No stealth, really...?
@ShogunRok been thinking about getting this for awhile, i didnt know how much solo content there was. Just tend to hold back on mmo's, i got into EQ back in the day and really played it way too much...way to much, but dang was it fun!
