Fortnite's ninth season of content has arrived, bringing with it a whole host of gameplay additions and changes to the map. There's a new Battle Pass to rank up too, giving you access to more skins and cosmetic rewards.
The biggest gameplay inclusion is Slipstreams - giant contraptions that allow you to navigate the map quickly via a wind transportation system. On top of that, there are new locations to uncover such as Neo Tilted and Mega Mall. Next up are Fortbytes, a series of 100 collectables spread across the map that are exclusive to Battle Pass purchasers. Picking them up will start to decrypt a mysterious message that'll run throughout season nine, culminating in - well, we don't exactly know yet.
And, of course, there's a new Battle Pass to purchase. Priced at 950 V-Bucks, you'll immediately gain access to two new outfits, one of which can be improved via XP. The usual 100 ranks will then offer further cosmetic options such as decals, pets, and sprays for your character to equip.
Is this enough to bring you back to Fortnite? Dab in the comments below.

My son, who turns 8 on Sunday, is stoked for this. It's like he has four or five birthdays a year because of these Fortnite seasons.
Gee I wish I was his age again and able to get that excited by something like this!
@RogerRoger Say what you want about Epic games, and Fortnite, but they sure do keep the content coming (I know, they would be mad not to with the money it makes them - but make hay whilst the sun shines as they say)! As a younger person there is enough changes and enough going on to not get bored. I mean, I played ZX Spectrum games when I was my sons age and you'd wait 10 minutes for it to load (if it DID load) and then play the game for an hour, complete it and that would be that! Kids have got it good now!
Might go back and give this season a try as since apex legends came out I haven't been on fortnite Battle Royale only save the world mode
