Ex-Assassin’s Creed creator Patrice Desilets’ upcoming prehistoric outing Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will launch on the PlayStation 4 in December – a whopping four months after it debuts on PC, via the controversial Epic Games Store. The developer Panache did not explain why it’s going to release late on consoles, but we’ll put it down to optimisation as opposed to shady timed exclusive shenanigans.
For those of you who haven’t been following this one, it’s effectively a survival game with roguelike elements, as you pass learned skills on to subsequent generations. To be honest, it looks bizarre, but the more wildlife games the better. Now if only we could convince Sony to bring back Tokyo Jungle, we’d be thrilled.

"Ex-Assassin’s Creed creator"
He's been stripped of his title of creator? How is that possible?
Really not seeing the appeal of this one at all but I appreciate when devs try something a bit different so best of luck to him.
Ive already have a job
I think it looks pretty interesting. Hopefully not bogged down by bloated unnecessary menu/item management.
