Not quite what I was expecting... Never saw it coming.

Oh...oh....oh....thats hilarious. Switch owners will be throwing serious shade at Atlus for that one - even though Atlus never said it was coming to switch (for what its worth a portable version of p5 would be awesome, and i would have had no issue with it).

As for this. Ueah, i will probably buy it. Not played a bad persona spin off yet. I am not usually into musou style games, although i own dragon quest heroes and have been tempted by fate/extella. Maybe this is the game to get me into them!

I’ve really enjoyed all of the licensed Warriors games I’ve played (Hyrule, One Piece, and Fire Emblem) and I like Persona far more than any of those series. I hope this is peak Warriors and not DW9-tier.

@Discipledoctor Fortunately I think Omega Force does much better work with licensed properties — at least these days.

Some of its best games are licensed: One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, Hyrule Warriors, Dragon Quest Heroes II, Fire Emblem Warriors... I've got quite high hopes for this.

I told people mainline Persona was Sony exclusive.
I was right about it being a spinoff, though, and that spinoff going multiplat.

Anyway, this is pretty cool. About time Sony got some of that musou crossover action (considering both Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors were both pretty well received).

Y'know, it's great for people that are big fans of the Warrior games.

Honestly, the games that follow the Warrior formula are usually more enjoyable than Dynasty Warriors itself!

I'll probably just stick with buying Persona 5 itself and avoid Scramble.

But I am a PS4 owner, so not end of the world.

I think people were betting their life savings on the fact the S stood for Switch. Is pretty obvious by now the main series is for Sony, the Q series is for Nintendo and the spinoffs are usually multiplat.

I was kinda hoping it was a fighting game like Persona 4 Arena, but this ain’t bad either.

These games (musou) get extremely boring to me extremely quickly. It's a hard pass from me.

@Ralizah They already had Dragon Quest Heroes I believe. Although regarding thier own IPs maybe a Ratchet & Clank Warriors game can totally work?

WOW.. I just peeked in on the Nintendo Life comments (for the 1st time ever) and just WOW. The forlorn and delusional comments over there are so sad it's almost not funny.

I mean, it's not as if every console gets every game, right? This is why I have a PS4 and a Switch. It seems the normal thing to do when you want exclusives from multiple consoles.

Nice! Day One for me. I love warriors style brawlers. Combined with P5 characters, it is a little nerd dream come true. Sad for Switch only owners who were expecting a port of the original though.

Yikes, sure N Life is in full meltdown mode right now. I do enjoy a few of the musou games but have no connections to the Persona world so will probably skip this. Glad some are excited though, sure there's going to be a lot of crying from those who expected P5 on switch m

I'm glad it's not for Switch. The port begging has become unbearable and this would have just led to another level of entitlement. Usually, I'm all for games being available in as many forms as possible, but the Switch fan base has become very obnoxious with their "All games can be on Switch if the developers weren't lazy."

@3Above Yeah, the sense of entitlement is unreal over there. They forget that the Shin megami tensei series is exclusive to Nintendo too.

The community seems much more level headed here. Its not like Atlus announced it and took it away (and it might still come in time). The also say how come they got joker in smash and he is the first character never to appear on a Nintendo console. Forgetting that joker was in Persona Q2 on 3ds..

@Rob_230 yea I'm not sure we live in the same world as they do. Its alot more irrational over there. I will never understand the mentality of ignoring a game you really want and that is already available to wait for port to an inferior system. If you have the option to play it elsewhere then play it! 🤦🏽‍♂️

Meh, not too bothered about this one, really not a fan of the "musou" genre. Was really hoping for a fighting game like Persona 4 Arena. I'll be getting P5R though.

I wasn’t expecting this. I will probably get it day one for being a Persona 5 fanboy though. Now some hype is creeping in. I haven’t gotten a good Warriors game since SW4 anyway though, and that was an excellent game.

@3Above since free public Wi-Fi isn't exactly a worldwide commodity, mobile internet tethered through the phone hotspot tends to carry the bulk of Remote Play's usage weight on the go. After all, you're basically using a PSN-aided stream akin to PS Now or upcoming Stadia, except the source is your own PS4 at home. Hence the mobile data costs - which can fall in the range of 1-1.5 Gb/hour as per my experience.

@Ralizah That persona tread on nintendolife is Kinda depressing i only read half of it how long were you going back and forth on there before someone gave up. also kinda strange that we got a persona warriors game before a Final Fantasy one.
