We first caught wind of a sequel to Bloober Team's Layers of Fear at the tail end of last year, with a teaser that shows an emphasis on filmmaking rather than oil paintings. Layers of Fear 2 looks to adopt a similar psychological horror vibe, with players this time exploring an ocean liner turned sinister.
If you're looking forward to the follow-up, you don't have long to wait. Publisher Gun Media has announced the game will release on 28th May 2019 on PlayStation 4, meaning we're only a month away. A fresh batch of screenshots have also emerged, and the game is looking suitably spooky.

Will watch a walkthrough for sure. Not my kind of thing to play, but entertaining to watch with my favourite horror-game streamer.
I noticed the first Layers of fear is on sale in the US on PSN store for $4.99 currently. I might pick it up now that I see the sequel is on the way soon. If it’s half as good as P.T., it should be worth a fiver.
Hope this shares more with the first Layers of Fear than their other releases. Layers of Fear is incredible, but some of their other stuff like Observer is...questionable.

I don't think any other game has caused me so many goosebumps as Layers of fear did. I don't know, it was just so cool and frightening at the same time, albeit being more of a walking sim. Really looking forward to this!
