Really? Another Goku could be coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ? Really? Apparently so, according to reliable Japanese blog ryokutya2089. The hottest new info says Goku from Dragon Ball GT is going to be an additional DLC character. For those who don't know, Goku is forced back into the form of a child in the non-canon GT series. So while he's not quite the same fighter as he is when he's older, there's no getting away from the fact that it's another bloody Goku.
Dragon Ball FighterZ already features three different Gokus: Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Goku, and Base Form Goku. If you include Super Saiyan Blue Vegito and upcoming DLC character Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, that's technically five Gokus since they're both fusions of Goku and Vegeta. And that's not even counting Goku Black! Sigh.
If this turns out to be true, then expect to see some official confirmation very soon, supposedly through the latest Japanese print publications.
All the awesome characters in Dragon Ball and we get another Goku... It's gonna take us a while to get over this one.
Update: It seems pretty much confirmed at point, as reportedly, the latest issue of V-Jump has all the information. No doubt you'll be seeing scans of the publication's pages in the very near future.

Half of Dragon Ball's cast was Goku I think. Either the artists could only draw one type of character or Goku was putting it about quite a bit.
@NintendoFan4Lyf they did that in the PS2 games so i really dont know why they dont for fighterz :/
But yay.......more Goku......
It’s probably true. And I hated GT.
When you've got so many amazing characters throughout Dragon Ball history, another Goku just feels like a direct kick to the gut.
Everything about GT sucks. I'd prefer Turles or Janemba.
If the rest of the DLC is going to be different variations of characters we already have, season 2 is already shaping up to be disappointing unless they are really fun to play as.
Wasted roster spot as with base Goku & Vegeta SMH.
slow clapping
Not as bad as GT Final Bout where half the roster was Goku.
But its cuttinv it reeeal close.
While it is disappointing that it is going to another goku at least since it's his kid version he will have a completely different move set
How many Dragonball character does it take to start a fight?
Only one Goku is perfectly prepared to fight amongst himself.
I’ll show myself out.
I'm a GT fanboy and I'm not sure I wanted this, seems like waste of a slot. However if he could transform into SSJ4 then I take my first comment back, on a side note I wish Super would hurry up and introduce SSJ4 and make it cannon.
Goku Battle Royal!
@KingdomHeartsFan
It was getting silly, but that’s awesome! Well done you.
@Fandabidozi lol
Make it SKINS not new characters............
I bought the first season pass recently on a sale because I really like Broly but the second one if it has more and more Gokus (just you wait for kid Goku) it won't be worth the buy.
@KingdomHeartsFan there should be only ONE Goku, and we would transform as we want. Turles is cool and his Fruit buff would be suitable for FighterZ!
This is why I stopped playing fighting games because of multiple versions of a single character being sold as dlc. Fighting games are now the second most terrible thing in gaming for me, first is mobile gaming thanks to greedy practices like microtransactions.
Even despite the numerous Goku's, honestly I don't understand why you there are so many Saiyans in DBFZ, especially since they're pulling from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. Where's Roshi? Toppo? Hercule / Mr. Satan? Tapion? Janemba? Even Chichi, Ox King, or Bulma in a mech. Someone different from another Saiyan, which seems to be at least half the cast.
Something Arc System Works has always had special about their games was a diverse cast of characters, personalities, and backgrounds to play as. DBFZ is missing that diversity, has many similar or outright same characters, and doesn't use the richness of the source material to its advantage. Some of the same characters do have different game plans, but honestly they even often share the same normals.
I have to believe it's Bandai Namco calling the shots when it comes to such disappointing choices.
I only own the "base characters", so I ain't complaining.
