Uplay Points Expiration

Uplay, Ubisoft's platform for player rewards, has been around for quite some time. Introduced in 2009 alongside Assassin's Creed 2, The current gist of the service is that if you play Ubisoft games and complete certain in-game feats, you're granted Uplay Points, and you can spend these points on various rewards. Usually it's just bonus in-game items that are up for grabs, like exclusive costumes or weapons, but they can also be spent on discount coupons applicable to Ubisoft's own merchandise store.

However, some of your Uplay Points may be on the verge of expiring. Beginning on the 31st March 2019, Uplay Points earned more than two years ago -- before the 31st March 2017 -- will be removed from your Uplay account. Expiration systems like this tend to be in place so that you're pushed to spend, rather than save.

Fortunately, you can check how many of your Uplay Points are going to expire by signing into Uplay through this link. You should be able to see both your total amount of Uplay Points and the amount that you'll be left with once expiration kicks in on the 31st March. Needless to say, if you're going to lose a chunk of points, you're better off spending them while you can.
