The Tale of a Timeless Tome, the next DLC for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, brings a load of new features to the whimsical role-playing title later this month. An expansion of sorts, the trailer that we've embedded above tells you just about everything that you need to know. There are new story elements, tough boss battles, fresh higgledies, and more.
The DLC's due out on the 19th March, and is part of the game's season pass. Based on what we've read around the web, the pass has actually been pretty good so far, adding a decent amount of stuff to Evan's adventure.
Have you been playing any of the DLC? Let us know if you're fit to be a king in the comments section below.

Bought this and still haven’t touched it...I really should get around to it.
I might actually buy this now that the DLC’s finally out.
100+ Hours in but haven't played it in awhile. The last time I tried I couldn't remember what I was doing. I forgot how to play.
I think you might have forgotten to include the trailer...
@DeQuimet WHOOPS!
The GOTY edition will be sweet.
I much preferred nnk1 and the collect em all style but this is decent although I stopped quite a way through and still need to complete it. So is this the last dlc? I thought there was meant to be a story based dlc?
Noice. Glad I bought the King's edition. Worth every penny.
It’s real, @rjejr, you’re not dreaming 😉
I need to grind through skirmishes, i got to the last boss but i did very little of those to be able to get it done. Still a great game though. So many great games out there.
I platinumed the game but haven't tried any of the DLC. I finished it within the month it came out, so nearly a year ago, so it's gonna be really difficult to jump back in with my max level characters. I'll have no idea what I'm doing. I wish the DLC had cone out sooner.
@clvr Man, the title is almost trolling the fanbase. Thanks for paying $20 for a season pass a year ago, here's your DLC The Tale of a Timeless Tome.
Add that to The Lair of the Lost Lord DLC and you have some "Lost in Time" meme.
I played the base game and traded it in for DQXI and even that is long gone.
If they wanted to release DLC a year later they just should announce it later, like Horizon Zero Dawn or TLoU, an expansion. Anything involved in a Day 1 season pass needs to release sooner.
I mean I get that's how online games work these days, Overwatch, Destiny, Rocket League, Fornite, they have stuff come out for years, but a single player game like NNK2, that isn't how it's supposed to work.
I have no idea how Squenix is going to get anybody to buy FF16 Day 1. What's the point?
