We were a little let down back in December when Borderlands 2 VR launched without any sign of support for the PSVR Aim Controller, but that's all about to change with today's patch that enables the use of the peripheral out in the hostile wasteland of Pandora.
Alongside that, the 2.0 update will bring with it performance optimisation and bug fixes. Get a quick peek at the Aim Controller in action in the tweet below.
Is this enough to bring you back to Pandora? Shoot some bugs in the comments below.

Finally! The wait paid off!
I've heard of Borderlands but never really paid much attention to the games. However, I need some more Aim controller games so will be doing a bit of research now. Great to get more support for the controller.
This is excellent news! I’ve been enjoying it with the DS4, but it’s going to even better with the Aim 😎
If that had of been there at launch I'd have probably bought it but I've got too many games to play now
Well jeez, I know what I"m playing this weekend
...it's devil may cry 5, but maybe this too
Aimtastic news! Just got back from the pub, and was kicking back with a smoke when I read this. Got the patch installed and the nipple gun is on final charge. Tonight's gonna see sun-up, especially as there's no work tomoz.
Cool, going to buy this one now, looks great!
@Dange borderlands is excellent. 1 and 2. The pre sequel was meh
So how is borderlands vr? Is it worth it? I’ve played through borderlands 2 about 5 times and love it, but thinking about getting vr if this is good
This isn't necessarily a comment about Borderlands VR but rather modern video games in general. Do you think poorly received games should be re-reviewed after significant updates/patches? I feel like some games deserve a second chance, especially when the game publisher/programmer has listened and acted on initial criticism. Just a thought.
@Mgene15 I always assumed one was the same as the pre-sequel?
@Ryall the pre sequel was made by a different studio. It has a little different feel than the others where gearbox made them. Pre sequel was definitely the ugly duckling. It’s not a bad game but lacked a direction to me.
why wasn't it delayed so it could launch with this feature? they could have done an Aim bundle and Sony could have moved more of that peripheral.
This is excellent news!

About goddamn time. Why wasn't this already implemented when they announced this? Whatever. I'll look for this on the next sale I can find on it. VR shooters on PSVR shouldn't exist without Aim support, to say the least.
wow i'm shocked it wasn't supported day 1
Yes! Looks like I can get the game now. 2 Moves never really seemed optimal, and DualShock 4 wouldn't have the same level of tracking, and therefore immersion, for me. This is great news!
I have borderlands 2 installed on my Pro but I haven't played it for a couple of months, so I'll be dusting off my PSVR and Aim controller tonight!!!
Co Op!! That will bring every VR owner back. Why they didnt implement that is beyond me
