Don’t show anyone at Sony this trailer for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet – there’s a good chance the company will have a collective aneurysm. The platform holder – which has been clamping down on cynically sexual games – has so far turned a blind eye to Koei Tecmo’s updated paradise island simulator, which is great news for fans of teenagers with breast enhancements.
This trailer introduces three key cast members: Kasumi, Ayane, and Hitomi. To be honest, we’ve been sat here slack-jawed for the past 10 minutes, because we can’t believe the youngest looking girl is actually 20-years-old! The game’s due out in Japan on 20th March, but don’t expect a Western release. Like, ever.

i still don't get it, they clamped down on Senran Kagura (and others like it) as it has underage girls in it (some as young as 14) and people still think it's wrong that they did that, seriously?
Those gals seem like they're having the time of their lives.
Stop hating Sammy.
The "base" version of this didn't even get a western release, so why would this version get a pass? It's not going to Switch in the west either (edited for clarity), and if Nintendo is supposedly more lenient, I doubt Sony would give it the time of day.
They don't look like children or teenagers to me, so I personally have no issue with it. Let's see if Sony does.
My favourite comments on these articles are the ones that go:
"I don't personally play these games, but... (500-word defence of said game)"
None of them look like little kids so no boarder line paedophile, so can't see Sony doing anything
The 'problem' (for lack of a better word) with this game is its all style no substance. And I'm a fan of 'fanservice' games, I play Yakuza, Soul Calibur and Street Fighter after all, but there needs to be some substance behind the game. It's the same way I view Mortal Kombat. I love some of the games like 1 and 2, 9 and X but most are just all violence, nothing else. Violence and sexual content are fine but can't be the only thing.
Wahaaaayyyy! Phwoaaaarrr! Coorrrrrr! Hubba hubba! BOING! etc.
"has so far turned a blind eye to Koei Tecmo’s updated paradise island simulator"
I could've sworn there was confirmation of the PS4 version having cut content.
@DerMeister It IS coming to Switch, just not in the West.
Who cares about gameplay when you can show boobs! This IS a game.......right?
@Paranoimia
So... this isn't the PS5 prototype then?

@naruball Funny thing is the 3 characters they are showing in this trailer are teenagers under 18
@Knuckles-Fajita That's what I meant when I brought it up.
I have Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 its so boring just waste your money on something else.
Some sick fact 13 is the legal age for having sex in Japan.. 😑
BEWBS! I'm taking them to the bushes first! ...but only because they look like they could potentially be of age bewbs! 😜 Tbh I'm confused - this looks more like a swimwear or holiday resort commercial than a game to me, or maybe one of those island beach based reality tv shows.
@Orpheus79V Yeah the horror of a fan missing so you cant look under their skirts and gel for bouncing boobs. I rather see a new volleyball game like in the earlier games those where fun.
Beach Spikers: Virtua Beach Volleyball on the gamecube that game was fun. And yes i didnt mind the girls when i was younger. 😁
@Areus
What trailer were you watching? They showed the ages. 19, 18 and 20.
There aren't any volleyball games on the PS4 are there? I assume the gameplay for this title isn't great?
Waaay more focused on DOA6. The Xtreme series never clicked with me.
I just think it's funny that they give all of the girls specific ages.
They take this kind of thing very seriously in Japan...
@Gamer83 yeah they are now but for the longest time they were teens considering Kasumi and Ayane were 17 and 16 in dead or alive 5
Is it just me or do they look more mature than past games? I never played a Dead or Alive game, but from what I remember of past trailers they did look younger.
@Areus
So they aged like characters do in other games or cartoons, etc. They're now 'of age' and they don't look underage anyway which is what everybody cries about with Senran Kagura. Not seeing the issue here other than the big one that this series doesn't have good gameplay.
There's nothing particularly OTT in this trailer. Are you sure you're just not overly prudish, Sammy?
@Gamer83 As per community rules

So let's watch the language ok
Thanks for understanding
Oh no, digital women in bikinis posing. How evil and wrong. /sarcasm
@DerMeister Pretty sure it has a Switch release, too.
@FullbringIchigo Yeah, censoring games is wrong.
@Gremio108 You can defend things you don't personally like.
No HD rumble no buy.
I guess after years of videogame trailers I've grown jaded but I don't see anything in here that isn't in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue or the "making of" vids that go along with them. Not to say I ahevnt' seen NSFW stuff in other vids, notably Senran KAgura games and a few others, like those "Dating sims", but really, while made to be enticing or erotica, I wouldn't call it NSFW. I's all Instagram safe, isnt' that the new guideline for the world?
@Gamer83 Gotta admit, I'm curious what you edited out b/c I've read all your posts and I'm not even sure were you would have replaced a curse word w/ a non-curse word.
most rap videos have women wearing less,dont even get me started on lady gagagagagagagagaga
People discussing video-game characters age that can literally be as old as the creators want is the epitome of the collective hysteria thats widespread in the west. We live in a age were people can't understand the difference between real and fantasy, it's a little deplorable but it's also funny.
I like DOA and I never ever saw any problems with any kind of fanservice they provide and I'm yet to see an rational argument that can make me think different.
@archaicking so your OK with sextualisation of underage girls
remind me to never let you near my kids
with all the stuff coming out now a days about assaults (mainly out of Hollywood), Sony are just making sure they are covered and besides all the creators of these games have to do is up their age to 18 and there wouldn't be an issue
@gibbleking how old is Lady Gaga?
@Areus That's interesting. I had no idea.
I still think they look 18 or over. Many artists in Japan draw 12 year old looking girls and hide behind an age they give them that makes zero sense.
7 Deadly Sins comes to mind.
Edit: ok, turns out they're not even supposed to be underage anyway.
@AyanamiReign There is one that just came out. It's called Spike Volleyball.
Each to his own.
@naruball yeah they used to hide the ages of kasumi ayane kokoro and eliot on the character select screen here in the west because they were under aged
who cares? let people enjoy stuff for once. i personally wouldnt get this game as i prefer a bit more to a game. good to look at though
It’s really funny that there’s an advertisement for VR porn in this article. The game is certainly cleaner than the porn site! Lol
@FullbringIchigo Bobody every mentioned your kids fam, chill. And what does Hollywood have to do with these games? Nothing? So why are you bringing it up then fam? I don’t care why Sony is doing it, they literally created a problem out of nothing and expect me to slurp up the slop they’ve stuck their dirty hands into.
