How do you upgrade Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts 3? This is one of the very few games in the series that actually allows you to upgrade the Keyblades you pick up as part of your adventure through resource collection. We hear you though, how do you do that? Here's how.
How to Upgrade Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts 3
The ability to upgrade Keyblades can be found at Moogle Shops. These are generally located near multiple save points or in towns, such as Twilight Town. Once you've found one, interact with it via the triangle button and you'll be greeted by a whole host of options. You'll be able to buy items and sell them back, but the option we're looking for is labelled the Workshop.
From there, select the Keyblade Forge. You'll also be able to synthesis items from this menu, but that's for another time. Once you open the Keyblade Forge, you'll find a screen that looks similar to the one below.
As you can see, it's fairly easy to understand what does what. You can cycle through each of your Keyblades with ease via the D-pad, the amount of upgrades each Keyblade has is clearly displayed to the right via the locked padlocks, and the next enhancement will tell you how it effects your strength and magic stats. You can also see which materials you need to unlock the next upgrade, meaning you know exactly what to hunt for when you're out and about in any one of the Disney worlds.
