How Long Is Anthem

How long is ANTHEM's campaign? How many hours does it take to beat the game? In this guide, we're going to quickly go over how big ANTHEM is, and roughly how many hours you'll have to spend with it if you want to see the story credits roll.

How long does ANTHEM take to beat?

ANTHEM's length is going to vary depending on how much you want to see and do within the game. Below, we've listed some estimates based on available content at launch.

  • Completing just the story - Anywhere from 20 to 30 hours, depending on how quickly you play main missions back-to-back.
  • Completing the story plus major side missions - If you're looking to beat both the main story and a lot of the game's bigger optional quests, you're probably looking at between 30 and 40, or even 50 hours of play depending on the speed at which you progress.
  • Completing every available mission - If you want to complete every mission available to you in Fort Tarsis, you're probably going to be playing for around 50 hours and over. This obviously isn't counting daily, weekly, and monthly challenges, or renewable contracts.
  • Gearing up for the endgame - ANTHEM's endgame difficulties -- the Grand Master difficulties -- require much better equipment. In order to obtain Masterwork items -- the most powerful stuff in the game --across the board, you're going to have to spend around 50 to 60 hours and over with ANTHEM. This one can vary quite a bit, depending on your luck with loot drops, and the efficiency of your grinding.
