Dead Or Alive 6 Demo

Dead or Alive 6 will be getting a 'Deluxe Demo', Koei Tecmo has confirmed. It'll feature online battles, training modes, combo challenges, and a brief look at the game's story. It'll also include all 24 playable characters, so more hardcore fans of the series may appreciate the opportunity to test out their favourite fighters before the game launches in March. The demo releases on the 22nd February, but it's worth noting that you'll need PlayStation Plus to play it.

In other Dead or Alive 6 news, Mai Shiranui of King of Fighters fame will be returning. Mai was a DLC character in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, and you're going to have to pay for her again in the sequel. Bit of a weird way to do it, but she is a collaboration character, we suppose. Mai's due out in June alongside another unannounced King of Fighters guest.

Naturally, Dead or Alive 6 is getting a season pass, too. The ominously named 'Season Pass 1' will include the above guest characters as well as 62 new costumes. Let's just hope it's not priced at £70 this time, eh?
