Last year, you may remember a weird and wonderful trailer for an open world, first person action game set in an alternate history Soviet Russia. It's called Atomic Heart, and that video came out of left field and blew us away with its BioShock-like vibe and creepy robotic foes. Fast forward eight months, and we have our first real look at gameplay from an early build of the game.
It begins outdoors and gradually gets crazier as an enemy knocks you through a hole and into some sinister facility. The atmosphere builds very effectively, and while it looks a little rough around the edges because of its pre-alpha state, it's an impressive 10-minute clip. We're not sure how far off Atomic Heart is, but it sure shows a lot of promise.
What do you think of Atomic Heart? Do the robot in the comments below.

This is looking very strong indeed.
I've never heard of this but it actually looks pretty decent!
Looks quite interesting, seems to me some kind of lock-aim function could help with the melee and I wonder how many times you can kill the mustache robot before it gets old
Looks really interesting, I'm guessing it's probably another year off though
Ooh I like the look of that, proper creepy. The electronic fight music is a bonus.

This looks absolutely brilliant.
Looks a bit too mental for me. Makes me miss the first Resistance. I'd buy that for the PS4 if they ever remade it.
Looks very good... immersive and a differing take on things. Also fair play to the devs if thats pre-aplha too..
It says preorder but who is taking preorders?
Either way this look great
Been a long time since the initial reveal 2017? Any way this looks to be great
