Can we just take a moment how freakin’ cool Capcom’s demos for the Resident Evil franchise have been lately? First we had PlayStation VR teaser Kitchen, which no one knew was even connected to Biohazard until later. Then we had the evolving sampler for Resident Evil 7, which altered over time – a brilliant way to get people talking. And now we have this 1-Shot demo for Resident Evil 2, a limited time teaser which will give you just 30 minutes to try out the title.
It’s live now across Europe, although North America may have to wait a few more hours yet. How are you going to be playing the demo? Taking your time and soaking up the atmosphere or… Trying to rush through to the end? You've got 30 minutes to comment.

I think I will just wait, would rather go into the game fresh on full release. Plus Tales of Vesperia is going to be getting my full attention until then.
any1 know if this demo will come with trophies??
@pimpjuice I doubt it would since it's just a timed, one time go demo.

Is the kitchen demo still available? I dont ever remember seeing it in the ps store
You can only play it once. The timer only stops when you hit pause. I played it once and I will play again tomorrow. Yeah if you want to play it numerous times you need multiple accounts, (and have to change the time zone to play early, depending on where you live).
All I can say after one play through is that it is absolutely amazing! It felt like I was playing for ten minutes when the timer finally expired.
I’ll leave it, not because I’m not interested just that I prefer to wait 2 more weeks to play the whole game fresh.
the only thing I was able to craft was 14 handgun ammo.............................

@Neolit You should really play 4 its awsome. Resident Evil 5 is quite good for the cheap price. And Resident 0 is also awsome you can probably get all 3 for the price of 1 new game. 😃

@FullbringIchigo I think it's great. My worry was I'd ruin the intro for myself by playing it loads before the main game drops. Now I can just get a feel for the controls and shoot a few zombies in the starting area or whatever and I dont feel like I'll get long enough with it to spoil the experience of the full game.

My most hyped game for 2019..Of course I'm going to play the demo!
Was going to wait for the full game but I'm just too excited.
Loved the demo, was disappointed when it ended so I can’t wait for the 25th! I got to the part where the fat zombie was facing a vending machine then it cut short when the 30 minutes was up. I played RE2 back on the OG PS but don’t remember certain zombies couldn’t be killed. The first cop zombie you encounter in the demo just kept getting back up every time I shot him in the head but when I killed another zombie in a different area I blew it’s head off after a few shots and it was really dead, never got back up at all. I do feel some zombie was like bullet sponges, especially the lickers I’ve saw in some gameplay videos.
I rushed through the demo and managed to 'finish it' in 24 minutes. That was without reading notes, running past zombies and not fully exploring, though. I like it, it does look very good and it's got that classic Resi gore to it. My only gripe is that movement feels a tad floaty, similar to the movement in Resident Evil Revelations 2.
Edit: Playing it again on an alt account and the movement weight is fine. I think it's just the sway of the camera when aiming. It's all good.

Played it but I couldn't finish it in time. It's very good but for some reason I expected more visually.
@Flaming_Kaiser Same here mate, was my favorite Xbox 360 game, I screamed when it was announced for Ps4 at E3.
When I put the game in last night, that opening theme song, I was singing it hahah.
I had such high Hopes for this game.... And yet... It beat all the expectations I had! Everyone that look forward to the game should try it! Its so much more then anyone would Hope for! I LOVE IT! 😁
