The PS4 remake of Resident Evil 2 is just a few weeks away, and it's looking like a cracking remake of the classic PSone horror game. The trophy list emerged online recently, and while the original source has since disappeared, the full list is readily available for your perusal. Our main takeaway from the list is that the Platinum gong could be pretty difficult to achieve.
In order to acquire all the trinkets in Capcom's remake, you'll need to play through the game a few times, following the stories of both Leon and Claire. Completing their respective paths on hardcore difficulty will earn you a couple of gold trophies, and another pair are available to those who can beat the two stories with an S rank on normal or hardcore. You'll also need to complete the game without using a single recovery item, and complete it taking a maximum of 14,000 steps.
These aren't the only tough ones in the list, but they're probably the most time consuming. Regardless, fans should have a decent challenge on their hands when Resi 2 lands at the end of January. Will you be going for the Plat? Make your escape in the comments below.

Looks like I'm not getting this Plat lol.
Sounds like an interesting challenge. Will have to stay consistently exciting and interesting for each playthrough to keep me playing though I would think. With so many other great releases coming out this year. Would definitely be an impressive plat to show off though.
I have my eyes set on the platinum for sure! Clearing out some of the backlog in preparation (RE1 Remake)! Super Excited!

I did pretty much all of that on the original through many playthroughs so I'm pretty confident of getting this platinum
the carbon footprint trophy takes the mick the most.
So glad they bought back the trophies for this, it's one aspect I thought they'd really mess up, and honestly Resi 2 without trophies is like Barry Burton without dad jokes.

Sounds like this will be a toughie even if not going for the plat. I understand Mr X is relentless this time around, and the game has been played around with to ensure licker placement etc isnt where you might remember

Granted, unfinished trophy lists can be a thing to get used to anyway, particularly when you buy an older game and learn that it had online trophies you can no longer access servers for.

Absolutely hyped for this game but that Plat is beyond my reach and I know it so will just play the game and enjoy it without stressing over trophies lol.
I cant even do the original unlocks from RE2, not chance of doing these.

I quite like trying to platinum games but when I see a trophy or 2 that looks too frustrating or overly time consuming I don’t bother with it. This sounds like an enjoy it on default difficulty game and leave it at that.
Man, I hate trophy lists like this. It's the sort of thing I would have loved when I was a student bum and I had nothing to do except play video games in my pants, but now that I'm a 35 year old man with nothing to do except play video games in my smoking jacket, I just can't be bothered.
Oooooosh oh man that's going to be a PITA
It's knowing about them before you've even played the game that makes them seem so daunting. With the original, at first I'd plod through the game, bosses seemed difficult, I couldn't remember what items were where, etc, but after a while - and without even aiming for it - I'd complete the game in under 2 hours and would very rarely take any damage. You just have to enjoy it and you'll accidentally get good.
