Far Cry: New Dawn's Story Trailer Has Blood, Baddies, and a Familiar Face

This story trailer for Far Cry: New Dawn is just about everything that you'd expect. A bit of melodrama, a touch of violence, and... Wait, is that...? Yeah, a familiar face if you've played Far Cry 5. We won't spoil it here, though.

New Dawn's still slated for release on the 15th February, so it's closing in quick. Is this post-apocalyptic open world shooter on your radar, though? Apply some neon paint to the comments section below.

Im liking the look of this but it pretty much hammers home that Far Cry 5 was inconsequential. Nothing in that game mattered in the end. Ubisoft should have just made this far cry 5 and put the whole Seed family here.

I truly hope the people who are excited for this enjoy it, but after Far Cry 5 I am absolutely not among them. I thought the gameplay itself was pretty average, but I thought the story was bad and the ending terrible. It felt like it was mocking you for playing the game, and cheapened a lot that came before for me.

Just my opinion of course, and I hope the people who felt differently about FC5 also like this one. As for me: No Far Cry for a while.

I’m surprised that this is a full price release considering it’s basically a reskin of FC5 with some added light RPG elements. I’ll probably still get it at some point, but it won’t be day one for me.

I think the main FC5 game was really good, but the DLC really let it down after buying the season pass.
So IMHO this should have been included in the season pass for all the people that got 3 awful add-ons for the Far Cry 5 season pass.

After that outlay I’ll wait for this to go way down in price before I buy it.

It does look pretty good and it's nice it's a direct sequel to FC 5, but honestly I think it just seems like a ''keeping me warm till the better looking rage2 comes along'' kind of game

Wasn’t far cry primal’s map a reskinned far cry 4 map? So they’re doing it again. Would rather have the cheap spin offs be like blood dragon but that’s probably asking to much from ubisoft, or any modern AAA studio that isn’t sony/nintendo for that matter.
