Of course, we come to expect over the top violence from NetherRealm Studios' iconic fighting game series, but Mortal Kombat 11 looks like it's really stepping things up. This clip from yesterday's reveal live stream shows a couple of matches while series co-creator Ed Boon talks through new features and, well, it speaks for itself.
Ed discusses new offensive and defensive manoeuvres you can pull off in the middle of matches, as well as what looks to be pretty robust character customisation. But the crowd appears to be hungry for blood, cheering and screaming at the obscene fatalities and fatal blow attacks. If you're interested in Mortal Kombat 11, the above video is worth a watch -- just maybe not with the kids.

I haven't played a MK title since 4 ... but I grew with MK1 and 2 (love it, of course) ... maybe a can give this a shot. I'm old and rusty for speedy fights : P
But how else will children learn to respect the Outer Gods?
The only problem is the gore and the ultra violence!! Nowadays, that the graphics are too realistic the blood and gore have entered in new high levels!! Probably its gonna sell better.. I know it's a mature title but this is sickness! Disgusting!
baraka is one hungry sob 😄 hahaha fatalitie win.word up son
Anime boobs are way more frightening than this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...but does Ed Boon explain the choice of using hip hop music for the trailers?
For the games that have release dates, MK11 is my most hyped game followed by Days Gone and Trials Rising.
I wish I could play them all right now. The waiting sucks.
@Hordak No. No, he does not.
