Lightning Strikes, January 2019 - March 2019
- The second Tides of War chapter, named Lightning Strikes, kicks off.
- Co-op mode Combined Arms joins the fray where four players can partake in missions across several maps against AI.

wait, what? rush mode isn't in the base game?!. what is in it?. a handful of maps and about 4 modes?. to me this sounds exactly like the way battlefront released.. except with the promise of stuff for free later rather than a pricey season pass. i wouldn't be surprised if there's a significant drop in sales compared to BF4/1. i haven''t seen anywhere retailing it less than £50 (still £10 less than the rip-off on psn) in a week which is going to see a lot of big titles with significant drops in price for black friday. i could see this being available for £25 before christmas. none of my friends or colleagues seem to have any interest in it, regardless of whether they used to play BF on PC or playstation. the general consensus could be paraphrased by "DICE is not the company it used to be".
Its £50 in Tesco.
£50 for an INCOMPLETE game. Anyone else boycotted EA yet?
Games as a service the EA way is not as advertised. Complete joke. Awful crap like this we need to avoid to send a message to the publishers. Do the right thing, Buy Hitman 2.
@leucocyte Nope, Rush isn't there.
@leucocyte How many maps does COD have just to ask? And how many maps are rehashed? If i see COD i see mostly old maps. Microtransactions for weapons, grindy gameplay somehow people bend and take everything from Activision Blizzard its shocking.
@leucocyte currently going for £42 I believe. Can't beat a bit of shopping around. Anyone who pays over £40 for any game new need some common sense.
People moaning about lack of battle royale mode.
Same people moaning about the battle royale genre to begin with, I'd wager!
@kyleforrester87 yeah pretty much, but bf seems like the perfect game for it, weird they didnt go all our for it. Either way i dont care, to busy with ubisofts newest AC. 😜
I work for Tesco and when I saw fallout 76 for £50 I was laughing to hard, they only sent in 1 copy for PS4 and XB1 and yet we sold both lol yet it sat right next to RDR2 for the same price and people still bought 76 I would have cried seeing that in person.
@Flaming_Kaiser - apparently CoD has 15 maps, though that required a search engine since i don't have it and haven't played it or had any interest in CoD multiplayer in years.
@Flaming_Kaiser.
I only buy COD for Zombies, Black Ops 4 valve for money wise is a hell of a lot better than Battlefield 5. The reason Battlefield 5 DLC is free is they listed part of the game as DLC, also from the gameplay footage I've seen of BF5 it's looking more like COD in a different skin. From the movement speed to the guns themselves the only difference is is obviously the size of the map & vehicle's. Actually one of the Maps in BF5 is also very Star wars like, which makes sense as it's the same development team.
@leucocyte You put more effort in it then i wanted to do. How many are that are reskinned old maps i will try to look that up when i feel like it. (probably never) 😜
@themcnoisy I really find Hitman a boring game i tried it but i could not like it. And the trophies you could not after you failed the special targets.
@banacheck I dont see it that way everything costs money with that game.
