Just when you think you've seen it all, another PS4 oddity shows up in a lobster costume, dodging fruit and jumping hurdles. Nippon Marathon is coming to Sony's current gen console on 17th December, and it looks pretty crazy. It's a physics based platformer that sees up to four players competing in races, obstacle courses, and various mini games.

Give the above trailer a watch, as it's quite something. Honestly, it looks like it could be a laugh with a few friends, if you're willing to embrace the game's bizarre nature. What do you think of Nippon Marathon? Ride a trolley into some giant bowling pins in the comments below.

I loved Takeshi's Castle, much preferred it over Total Wipeout. Maybe it seemed more funnier watching Japanese people to throwing themselves (sometimes literally) into those nonsensical challenges.
@AdamNovice also the tasks were much more creative
This looks great for some xmas fun
Vidiots did a video with this game when it was in Alpha/Beta, whichever it was, and was quite funny, so I'd recommend giving it a watch.
I’m not sure if this looks great or terrible.
Someone should just make a Takeshis Castle game that's like Mario party. They have to make sure to add the 80s Japan charm.
Not sure what to say about this. It looks awful but I reckon it could actually be quite good fun with some friends. Count me in!
