@Neolit I know I will
Glad I didn't buy it digitally. Now if only Detroit would get the same deal...
@Neolit Dude! Thank you so much!
@naruball Detroit Become Human is £14 over at Argos.co.uk.
https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7648128
Get it while you can!
It's 27.49 CAD on Canadian store, it's roughly 18 € !
Very tempting. I was planning on holding off of buying anything this sale since I've already got enough to play, but deals like this make that tricky.
Outstanding game, loved every minute of it. GOTY!
@Fight_Teza_Fight OMG!!
You also have Uncharted Lost Legacy for £12 and Spider-man for £28.99.
And for some reason, Shadow of the tomb raider is back to £40+
I'm surprised this game went down so far so fast. I expect it w/ games like AC that have $30 season passes b/c the more base games they sell the mor D LC they can sell, it's the "$60-to-start" model, but this game was pretty much complete when it released except for the camera and maybe hard mode, but those were free, there's nothing else to buy, so you get the whole game for $20, 8 months after release. It's kinda nuts.
Didn't see it in the article but it was also on sale on PSN for $21.99 or so. Not sure when that sale ended. I bought the game at launch for $48 on Amazon and traded it in for $39 at Gamestop and kept the box, so it might be worth buying git digitally now. OR wait until GoW 2 releases and we get this on PS+.
Maybe they're planning a native 4k version on PS5 for $50 so they're selling this now while they can? Or the RDR2 and Spider-man competition has completely killed it's sales as everyone who wanted it got it when it released?
Whatever the reason, and I'm still not happy about the ending, $20 for this game is well worth it, more that that actually, even $30 would be a great deal. Crazy.
Detroit for £14. That really is a bargain.
I'd try it, but I just spent $40 on a PS+ sub, $60 on Smash, and am going to pick up SEGA AGES: Phantasy Star and Sega Genesis Classics soon, so I think I'll wait until next year. It's not like the game is going to increase in price. I expect we'll see $20 physical copies at some point next year.
Just went through to order this and the price has gone back up, must have sold out already!
Worth every penny. It is worth the 60 it was at release.
For anyone in the UK who missed it at that price, its £19.99 on Smyth's Toys website atm! https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/video-games-and-tablets/top-selling-video-games/god-of-war-ps4/p/154084
It's actually cheaper if you buy it from the PS Store. Only $21.99 instead of Amazon's $29.99.
@munkondi
Not a scam. I bought it for 20.99 a few hours ago. The price changed at least 4 times today.
You can get it on the ps store for £25: https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/product/EP9000-CUSA07412_00-00000000GODOFWAR
As of 3:25pm UK time, Detroit is back on Amazon at £13.99, with free Prime delivery. Out of stock until 29th November apparently, but still available to order.

@Paranoimia and at 15:47 its showing £23.99.
Argos it is!
Already purchased this game on Day one baby, now its time for others to experience it as well (awesome game, personally my GOTY 2018)
@Nifty PMSL! 15:59 it's available for £16 on Amazon via AO!
@Paranoimia 16:22 Bought Detroit: Becoming Human.
@munkondi They're not switching prices. The alternate prices are other companies selling through Amazon. It's quite common to see things with different prices as a result of this. Amazon's own price has been £13.99 all day, and still is as I'm typing this.
AO however, who earlier had it listed on Amazon at £16, now have it listed at £26. Prices on Amazon currently range from £13.99 (Amazon themselves) to £36.90 via a 3rd-party seller.
@munkondi They wouldn't, as I was talking about Detroit. But the point I was making is no less valid. God of War is still available on Amazon right now at £20.99.
If you just search for it, the price listed in the results is £34.80, but that's from a 3rd-party seller; if you click through and look to the right, it's available from Amazon themselves for £20.99.
GameStop is selling God of War for $17.

I bought God of War for £20 and Detroit for £15 at Smyths today
@KidBoruto That's where I'm buying it from. Gonna order it Wednesday as soon as the prices go live. $17 is insane 😃!
@OGGamer Same here, I'm gonna pick it up along with Detroit: Become Human and a few other games.
Also still plan on buying a 55 inch 4K UHD HDTV and a wireless gaming headset too.
@munkondi
Actually I was wrong. The price only went down and the NL link is wrong.
You can click on the following link and stop being angry:

In my country I got it yesterday for 58% discount. I guess that was the best they could offer and I am glad to finally have my own copy of God of War!
