Part of the appeal of the Ace Combat series is, of course, the arcade dog fighting action, with its slick gameplay and large scale battles. However, the franchise is also known for its over the top stories and some of the cheesiest writing around, which entertains as much as the explosions. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown looks to be no different.

This latest trailer, which debuted during the Golden Joystick Awards, shows off both of these aspects well, with some wonderfully corny radio chatter accompanying the sky high action.
