Publisher Square Enix is releasing a broad mix of games this generation, from big blockbusters like Shadow of the Tomb Raider to more obscure titles such as The Quiet Man. This curious adventure game blends FMV and CG together to provide a unique look, and it's certainly an interesting effect.
The good news is, we don't have long to wait to give it a try -- it's out on 1st November 2018 on PS4. If you purchase the game within its first two weeks on sale, you'll also get a dynamic theme and some PSN avatars, which is nice. It'll only cost you $14.99.
You can get a taste of what this title is aiming for in the new trailer, embedded above. Here's the official blurb from Square Enix: "The Quiet Man takes players beyond sound to deliver an immersive story-driven cinematic action experience, which can be completed in one sitting. In a story that unravels across a single night, players take the role of deaf protagonist Dane as he fights his way through a “soundless” world to discover the motives behind the kidnapping of songstress Lala by a mysterious masked man."

It looks so corny I want it.
Sorry Quiet Man, Mega Man 11 already released.
@get2sammyb i don't know if it worth buy and time to play. i wait for reviews to see how good does it is
Now that is a good trailer, colour me intrigued.
That trailer has got me interested, though for this game I'll need to wait for reviews.
I've been really wanting shorter, cheaper games to play in-between my $60 AAA releases, but somehow I think this seems too cheap and too short...I guess we'll have to see how it pays off!
@jacobia @crimsontadpoles Agreed on both counts; incredible trailer, very curious, but also cautious.
I'm still not convinced we're at the stage where CGI and FMV can blend well together, and no amount of stylish editing can distract me from the complete lack of information about the interactive element. Those fights looked too scripted to be a full beat-'em-up, so is this just gonna be one long QTE or what?
Quite like having some questions, though, because the trailer made me want them answered, which I guess was the entire point of it.
@RogerRoger Yep, 100% agree. Reviews, what the level of interaction is, and price point.....we’ll need to know 🧐
Edit: just noticed the price is in the article 🤦🏻♂️
That was...fast...like that snuck up on me. like a Quiet man.
I'm always willing to try things like this as I think there's a real market for this kind of genre.
Nice to see it's coming real soon.
