Bandai Namco has put together a short documentary on the early history of SoulCalibur as a series, and it's an interesting watch if you're the least bit interested in the weapon-based fighting franchise. It features interviews with veteran players and has a lot of gameplay footage from past titles -- more than enough to get your nostalgic juices flowing.

Of course, this is all building up to the launch of SoulCalibur VI, which is now less than two weeks away. The hope is that after years of struggling to really stay relevant both commercially and competitively, SoulCalibur VI will return the series to its former glory.
