SoulCalibur VI will have a reasonably robust suite of single player and multiplayer game modes according to this latest Japanese trailer. Alongside the two story-based modes that were already confirmed, you're getting Arcade (which features a series of eight opponents), Versus (which you can play with a friend or with the computer), Training, Ranked Match (online), and Casual Match (online). A character creation mode is also featured, as is a museum mode, where you can look up concept art and play music.

If you're out of the loop on the aforementioned story modes, Soul Chronicle tells the story of each playable character through a series of fights in a timeline format. Meanwhile, Libra of Soul sees you create your own character and travel across a map, duelling enemies, unlocking weapons, and following an overarching plot. Needless to say, there should be more than enough single player content to enjoy.
