I’m still a little put off by their locking characters behind DLC paywall before the game is even released, but I’ll admit that is a nice roster for a beta. I’m tempted to participate and I’m curious to hear people’s impressions. Maybe the game can win back my support (and my potential money) if it impresses significantly, but it has a little deficit to make up for in my mind.
... but the fact that Tira (the DLC character) is available to play in the beta is very fishy. 😒
I loved playing a game where a character was locked behind an available one. Made you have to play the game to unlock. No incentive anymore to play as different characters. That's what I didn't like about Mario kart 8 on the switch. All cups/characters unlocked from the start.
I gotta check it out.
I'm downloading this. Got to get me some Geralt.
Why oh why do I work on the weekend?!
Well I got the crap beat outta me, be nice to know what the buttons do. Menu is kinda a mess. But its a beta so...OK!
The main hook for me is the story mode and create a character mode so I won't be bothering with the beta. Also way too busy with Dragon Quest, what a massive game!
