It's been a while since the initial announcement of Nickelodeon Kart Racers, but today we can finally see it in action. The video embedded above shows off various characters and courses in motion for the first time, and it looks... Well, it looks about how we expected.
It's pretty rough around the edges, but there could still be some fun to be had here. Racing around tracks based on Bikini Bottom, or the Pickles' house, as your favourite Nicktoons character is a nice novelty, we just hope that there are more than what's currently being shown. SpongeBob SquarePants is fine and dandy, but there are characters old and new that definitely deserve to be included.
We don't have to wait around that long to learn more, however -- the game launches on 23rd October. What do you think of Nickelodeon Kart Racers? Name your favourites in the comments below.

and those Turtles STILL look a 1000 times better than whatever the hell these are meant to be
The 2012 show was perfect and I don't know why it needed to be replaced. Heck having the turtles be different species completely takes away the fact that they were brothers. One thing I've learned is different species of turtles don't like each other.

Ah, I see you were talking about game play more than looks, nevermind.
I think the problem with Kart racer games is that Nintendo has set the bar so high with Mario Kart that most other attempts just seem like a cheap clone and this looks to be no exception to that rule.
Crash team racing was the only game that comes remotely close
@Marios-love-child agreed, but I do enjoy those Sonic racing games though.
As for this game, only 4 series?
