Picture this: there are 100 players on the battlefield and you have to parachute your way in and pick them all off as a giant urban map gradually shrinks around you. Except there aren’t 100 players on this particular battlefield because only approximately 63 people actually bought the game. Alas, we don’t talk about potentially problematic player counts around here anymore, do we?
Knives Out is a Battle Royale game that was announced during Sony’s PlayStation LineUp Tour livestream earlier today and it looks exactly like you’d expect it to. Look, we’re being facetious, and to be fair this has been downloaded roughly quintillion times since it launched on smartphones last year, but it’s just hard to get excited about these games now, isn’t it? It’s due out Spring 2019 in Japan.

I love the continuity between articles are we going to get a pushsquare cinematic universe
I don't get the reference to firewall?
100players?
@beemo
I like the concept. Because a lot of games are doing it wrong doesn't mean it's a bad concept.
Fortnite became too crazy for my taste a long time ago.
I'd rather play a game of Operation while listening to Radiohead.
Um, so no information on what's different about this game?
🤬 Battle Royale.
With all due respect to the developer, what's the point? I mean to try and release a game to compete with Fortnite is like someone releasing a social platform to compete with Facebook. It would never work.

I m positive Sammy was in full sarcasm mode in the article. I don't mind but I'm also open minded about this genre. I think it deserves as much attention as the usual 'totally original new concept' COD and co
Creativity doesn't really sell, does it?
Wow the only way this article could get any sassier is if the game was directed by David Cage and also starred Sonic the Hedgehog
So it's a Battle Royale mobile game? I couldn't be less enthusiastic about this game if I tried 😁
