Spider Man PS4 Sales Japan

Spider-Man is showing off his amazing spider-strength in Japan, where Marvel's Spider-Man has secured its third consecutive week at the top of the software charts. We can't remember the last time a Western-made title stuck around this long at number one, so Spidey's success is super impressive. The title now sits at 244,000 copies in Japan, so it's done very well for itself.

However, Spider-Man's continued reign hasn't done much to stimulate PlayStation 4 sales. The console is still stuck at around 16,000 units across the standard model and the PS4 Pro, and it seems as though nothing outside of a huge Japanese blockbuster will be able to increase that number at this point.
