Twin Mirror is a DONTNOD game alright. Soft colour palette? Check. Atrocious voice acting? Check. American characters written by French people? Check. Weird sci-fi elements? Check. If we hadn’t already seen the trailer to Life Is Strange 2, we’d be convinced this was the sequel instead – even if it is lacking in the teenager department.
This 10 minute demo essentially introduces the episodic adventure’s gameplay loop, which will see you toggling between the real-world and your Mind Palace, attempting to reconstruct memories. Gameplay-wise there’s nothing all that impressive going on here, but as is always the case with these types of titles, it’s the narrative that’s king.

I don't think I have enough memories for a palace. Possibly a two bed semi in Basingstoke.
"American characters written by French people?"
Both Life is Strange and Life is Strange 2 were mainly written by Christian Divine, who also worked for Ion Storm when they did the original Deus Ex. He wrote most of the dialogue for the first Life is Strange game. He is from the USA and thus not actually French.
The voice acting in this is terrible. The idea of a "Mind Palace" is childishly stupid. The core idea of restructuring your memories is good but I feel like the setting and ideas are misplaced here.
I was so pumped for this when it was announced but the fact that it's episodic took away some of my interest.
Nice to see more from Twin Peaks: The Game.
Im just not interested in this at all. It makes me want heavy rain part 2.
This looks really great, reminds me of Life is Strange !
