THQ Nordic’s re-Mars-tered edition of explosive PlayStation 3 open worlder Red Faction Guerrilla will drive its little space buggy to the PlayStation 4 from 3rd July. The game will run in 1080p at 60 frames-per-second on the standard PS4, or in 1500p at 60 frames-per-second on the PS4 Pro. Alternatively, you’ll be able to play in 4K at 30 frames-per-second on Sony’s supercharged system.
The publisher’s also improving the lighting and shadow rendering, while adding in some new textures to spruce things up. We really liked this game when it originally released – its physics were particularly impressive indeed. We’re not sure how it’s going to hold up in 2018, but it may be worth revisiting the red planet if the price is right.

What on Earth/Mars is with that trailer music?
@daveyboyps101 kinda reminds me of tenacious d. Never played the original may check this out, looks pretty fun.
Looking forward to it. I guess it's fair to assume there's no online mode for this release?
I think I'll be getting on this
I think the word "remastered" is going to become synonymous with this generation of games!
I loved it the first time around. Had some original ideas. Was cool your default weapon was a hammer and you could bring down entire buildings. I never could beat it though. I got to the end and the framerate was so bad I finally gave up. Looking forward to some redemption.
Bloody loved this game. Can't wait for it. My second favourite red faction game . First being the first red faction. Crazy how a hammer can do so much damage
This wasn’t high on my list of remasters that I was expecting, but I suppose it looks pretty good.
Played the original release for a while it was really good fun, never finished it so will definitely be picking this up
