The sequel to teen drama Life Is Strange will start on 27th September, a mysterious trailer has revealed. The video shows stitching on a hold-all, but doesn’t give much away. We’ll get our first taste of the long-awaited sequel in next week’s The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit – a standalone mini-story designed to introduce the extended universe of Life Is Strange 2.
Original developer DONTNOD is back at the helm, after Deck Nine dealt with prequel Before the Storm. There’ll be five episodes in the sequel, and more will be revealed in August – presumably at Gamescom in Cologne. As big fans of the franchise, we can’t wait to see where this all-new story goes; look out for a review of The Adventure of Captain Spirit next week.

You guys all definitely need to play Before the Storm, if you haven't yet (and liked Life is Strange). As Sammy says, it's arguably the better story in the series so far.

Surprised by all the Dontnod projects coming out. First Vampyr, then there's Captain Spirit, and the other one that was shown before E3 that I forgot what it's called, and then another Life is Strange.

The original LIS was such an experience, it had a strangle hold on me. This is amazing news. I'm in a dumb state of awe at the moment haha

Nice I recently got LiS for 5 on one of the PSN sales and I'm glad I got it the game was great I was thinking of getting the prequel but not really sure what could really offer if I know what happens to Rachel in LiS but glad to see it's getting a sequel

@GKO900 Like any good prequel, it adds a lot of context and really shows the evolution of Chloe's character and why Rachel was so important to her. It has all the charm, drama and fun of the original too. Well worth getting, IMO.
