There’s something tactile about virtual reality that Job Simulator tapped in to. The game was slight, but it was laugh out loud funny and extremely interactive, which made for a good three to four hour introduction to PlayStation VR’s features. Now developer Owlchemy Labs is back with Vacation Simulator, a riff on the original which sees the workbots trying to understand why humans would ever bother to relax.

This seems denser than its predecessor, with the studio teasing adventure elements. It’ll still work in the same way, though, with every object interactive and the PlayStation Move wands representing your hands. To be honest, it looks inventive, colourful, and funny, which is all we could realistically ask for out of this. The team says that it’s due out in late 2018 or early 2019, and we can’t wait to take a holiday with our headset on.
