E3 2018: SoulCalibur VI Release Date Carved into October This Year

No delay in sight

Phew. For a while there, it was starting to seem like SoulCalibur VI would be delayed out of 2018, but Bandai Namco has put its foot down and delivered a concrete 2018 date. A new story trailer's been released as well, so be sure to give that a watch and get your hype flowing. SoulCalibur VI launches on PlayStation 4 on the 19th October.

The latter part of this year is just getting more and more ridiculous, isn't it?

Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, he's played 'em all — a little too much, some might say.

NO WAY! This year? Somehow I thought it was gonna be Feb 2019 LOL. Time to break out Broken Destiny on the ol' Vita and start practicing!

Anyways these seems like a bad slot for this game. Going right up into the eye of the storm this fall, hope it does well for them.

Dear lord.... 😑 yeah, I don’t even know what to buy and what to skip out on for a little while this year now.... why do publishers do this EVERY SINGLE YEAR?!

Now I regret hoping this comes out this year — October? Eeesch... welp, I guess it will be a nice diversion from open world action games I’ll be playing (Tomb Raider, Spiderman, Red Dead, maybe Code Vein).
In all fairness, early 2019 is also getting pretty crowded also, so I can see the benefit of getting SCVI out before Christmas.

@redd214 Not at all, it was Amazon sending out the delivery updates, all you did was let us know. We followed it up and there it was. Rumours are rumours!
