New Game Plus in God of War? You got it. Confirmed during Sony's E3 2018 press conference, Kratos' superb adventure will soon let you start a new run with all of your upgrades and equipment intact. The only things that won't carry over are the story-related bits and pieces -- you'll still have to play through the game in the usual way.
However, New Game Plus apparently won't be easy. Supposedly, it'll ramp up the difficulty so that you're not just wrecking every enemy in sight.
There's no date for New Game Plus yet, with Sony saying it's currently in development and due at some point down the line.

I'm still in the middle of going on a 100% run on hard mode. I might try this only after I've beaten the game on its hardest difficulty.
I'm still undecided if I want to replay it normally or with new game plus, I think it's fun to replay it normally with the knowledge of the game combat system.

I'm another 100% completer... I'm mostly tempted now to trade the game in for cash! GoD doesn't have much replay value.

I've never really understood why people care about new game plus, in anything really. If I wanna play a game again, I'm happy to go back through the story and gameplay moments as intended, perhaps on a harder difficulty. Carrying weapons or stats over never really appeals to me but I guess I'm not really a big RPG guy so maybe it's that
I'll give it a go. Was planning a second run as a speed run. Think I'd rather wait for this. I wouldn't object to some dlc either.
