As promised, Hideo Kojima brought a lengthy new look at Death Stranding to E3 2018, and it confused everyone. The gameplay still looks quite early, but it’s clear that the auteur has a mind-bogglingly bonkers vision for this PlayStation 4 exclusive opus.

Exactly what your objective in Death Stranding is remains unclear at this stage, but there’s a mixture of climbing and stealth in the gameplay trailer. We’ll almost certainly learn more over the course of the week.
