To be fair, it was the strongest presentation from them in years, and dead entertaining. It really needed to be, they were almost dead in the water.

The Xbox division don't seem to understand the meaning of "exclusive" if I can play the game on a platform other than Xbox one it's not an exclusive! That's like if god of war was available on pc and PlayStation calling it an exclusive. Xbox is killing it self, all of their "exclusive games" can be bought or pirated online and played on PC with better hardware, graphics and user control. Having an Xbox app on windows doesn't turn it into an Xbox, it's a PC. PlayStation has apps on PC to remote play and stream games but it's not a PlayStation it's a PC.

@NintendoFan4Lyf nobody is being a fanboy just telling like it is. Who cares that that they showed games at their conference that are going to be able to be played on ps4 the fact is they didn’t provide a reason to own an Xbox one of you don’t have one yet. Those four games Sony are showing off are some of the most anticipated and hyped games and that’s including multiplats so I don’t see the problem.

@adf86 True, they are not giving potential customers any incentive to buy an Xbox one or Xbox one X if all the games can be played on the pc platform. Especially gamers who want the best graphics and maximum framerates.

@NintendoFan4Lyf yet multiplat games still sell more by a wide margin on ps4 compared to Xbox so no I don’t agree they sold some Xbox one x’s matter of fact like I said in my previous comment they didn’t give anyone a reason to own an Xbox if they don’t have one yet

PlayStation is in such a strong position at the moment that they can afford to focus on 4 of their biggest upcoming games, Xbox on the other hand has been getting allot of heat from Xbox gamers more and more about the lack of AAA games so they had to come out swinging! One thing I respect them for is having a UHD Blu-ray drive in their device and supporting Dolby Atmos in games but other than that I will never give them my money because their business models are disgusting. If the PS5 won't support Dolby Atmos or have a UHD Blu-ray drive I'll still buy it for the exclusives but I'll build a PC for third party titles with Atmos support.

You know what makes me laugh? Seeing all these PlayStation fanboys screaming about exclusives. Yet just four years ago I was being blasted for putting Sony on blast for not having good exclusives but was told, 'that's not what sells!' Now all the sudden it's the exclusives that have sold PS4 all along? Cut the crap. If MS hadn't been stupid with pricing, DRM and other decisions and put the Xbox One on equal footing with PS4 to begin with this race would've been a lot closer. Had it actually had a decent power advantage like it does now, the North American market would still be solidly dominated by Xbox the way it was in the 360 days and that changes things a lot.

@Gamer83 If i had 1 number different with the lotto i would have won 10 million. Yeah yeah Exclusive games dont sell a console yet somehow these big games define the console and give you a reason to get a Playstation. This was and still is the case since the original Playstation i can still remember my favorite games. BTW the same can be said about the Xbox without the PS3 the Xbox 360 would have never been so popular. But i still love Sony for giving me a console with one of the best Bluray in there so i never would have to switch my discs again. I can still hear Bill say we will never get a Bluray player HD DVD is the future. 😁 😋

Hey, I'm just repeating what you all told me back in 2014 when I was disappointed by the lack of exclusives. 'Exclusives don't matter as much as multiplats.' 'Exclusives don't move the needle.' And so on and so forth. Of course exclusives define a console, which is why it's great Sony got its sh*t together in 2016 and started delivering again. It's just funny how the narrative has changed now that MS is the best place to play multiplats and has bulked up big time for exclusives in the future with all the purchases it just made.
