Now, before you say anything, yes, the storytelling in Destiny isn't great and it never has been, but Cayde-6, the wisecracking robot, is easily one of the game's better characters. And his popularity makes this new trailer for Destiny 2: Forsaken that much more interesting.
We won't spoil it here, so give it a watch and let us know if you're ready for September's expansion in the comments section below.

WOW this looks a lot like Nioh! Good...it's better than Destiny 2 for sure x)
Best part about Destiny are the trailers that features Cayde-6.lol
That said, why I am watching NIOH 2?XD
@WanderingBullet pahaha! Destiny 2 is dead I guess
@AFCC There's still one person on my friends list that plays it quite often, though.
Nioh way this is Desinty 2!
FORGIVE ME
(I've fixed it)
Not sure how I feel about the "James Bond intro" box art, though.
As much as I love this story reveal. Bungie has fooled me too many times before. They were always good with cinematics but fail upon the game itself. Destiny feels too much of Bungie experimenting non-stop.
I will hold out. There are enough more trustworthy games coming out around the same time.
I might only pick it up if I got nothing else to fill the gap until ANTHEM is out. BioWare at least has experience in story telling, MMORPGs and world building.
Guess they had to get rid of anything good in D2. Cayde-6 was always a highlight. Wait until the farm gets blown up in D3 and all your progress gets wiped again.
Is it just me but doesnt the preorder bonus kinda kill the mood.... 😑
These games would be so awsome with a big complete campaing with optional drop in and drop out coöp with optional PVP. Its even easy to monetize with armor skins as microtransactions if needed what a waste.
@Rols yeah, killing off Cayde in a game like destiny is like killing the last good thing about the game. Something amazing has to happen afterwards if they take Cayde from the game.
He's a Robot, there's probably at least one backup software somewhere...
No, wait, you have to run around like a blue arsed fly collecting memory widgets and CPU components to restore him.
And as you can see from the image, his body is carried away, no doubt to some seedy workshop where a grizzled old engineer with some quirky character trait gets to work repairing him because.. Ta.daa!, he's the guy that built Cayde in the first place
Or him first to get the missions... zzzzzzzzzz
If Cayde's a robot why does he have a ghost anyway?
To tell him stuff? No because he's a robot so should have some kind of wifi/radio functionality to get info direct
Like, why do robots even needs to have screens in D1?
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi My apologies, fair enough, from our timeframe he would be classed as an Exo. But a couple of thousand years from now the fully synthesised organic, self-healing humans will look back and think, 'robot'
@WanderingBullet You gotta show him the trailer
@AFCC Sorry, but I'm not sure which trailer you're referring to.:/
@WanderingBullet the Nioh 2 one of course, AHAH
@AFCC Ohh... don't think he plays Dark Souls/Bloodborne type games.lol
Don't care. Fix the plethora of existing problems with the game before trying to shovel more expensive trouble down players throats;and I mean fix it now, without charging more money for it, like £35 for "future updates" kinda BS.
@WanderingBullet just kidding! Show him the Destiny trailer, bet he will be hyped
