If you weren't satisfied already by Spider-Man's cinematic showing at Sony's E3 2018 press conference, the game was shown off once again following the main show. Sid Shuman and Ryan Clements were joined by staff from Insomniac Games to show a live demonstration of gameplay, featuring lots of combat and web swinging.

It's looking extremely polished now, as development will surely be entering its final phases in the lead up to the game's launch in September. In one of the side activities shown, we see Spidey taking on waves of Kingpin's henchmen on a rooftop, and what's interesting is that several enemies are left to fall to their doom. It seems that Insomniac may have changed its mind about Spidey automatically preventing that from happening.

We also see another of the game's side missions, in which you have to find and destroy three bombs planted by Taskmaster as quickly as possible. The swinging looks wonderfully fast and fluid, and we're itching to give it a try.
