Animal Crossing Inspired Castaway Paradise Hits the Beach on PS4 Next Month

Dont forget Reverie last month was a cross over between the legend of zelda and earthbound too 😀

Seems to be a lot of Nintendo inspired games coming to PS4

Too bad that all of this Nintendo inspired games don't look like they actually improved the gameplay or art style

@GKO900 the artstyle is one of the things people like about the games there trying to copy (animal crossing especially)

May be wrong, but believe this is already available on mobile - just with timers.

I would really like to have an Animal Crossing game in my life again, but looking at the Steam reviews it seems like the game is still full of mobile-timers, which would be totally unacceptable for a game on a home console.

@ztpayne7 I bought it recently (its just under a tenner on psn) but it only just came out a month or 2 ago. Yet to start it, but its next on my list after Danganronpa 3 on my Vita. Its a cross buy title, and by all accounts is getting quite well received by gamers and the media! It didnt get much coverage on most media sites, although Push Square included it in their indie/outdie bin feature.

I think the art style is too blocky. I prefer animal crossing's art style.

I'll keep my Eye on this

I'm not keen on the character designs. The blocky heads don't have the same level of charm that the animals from Animal Crossing have.

I use to LOOOOVE animaL crossing lol.

I agree this one don't look as charming as Animal Crossing and the island seem less attractive than the village in Animal Crossing games.

What's with all the counterfeit Nintendo games coming to PS4? 😉

If Nintendo won't make an Animal Crossing game, you can count on someone else to.
