God of War PS4 PlayStation 4

With Kratos' Leviathan axe borrowing a return-on-command feature from Thor's hammer, there was always a small connection between Avengers and God of War, but this recently discovered easter egg in the new game merges the two franchises in a major way. If you have the right items, you can equip the Ghost of Sparta with something strongly resembling Thanos' infinity gauntlet from Avengers: Infinity War.

Once you finish Sindri's side quests, you'll receive a talisman called the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages. Here's its in-game description: "An ancient relic of Hel deemed too powerful to remain whole, fragments of its former strength lie scattered throughout the realms." It has the capacity for three enchantments.

There are six special enchantments across the realms, each one corresponding to one of the infinity stones. If you slot three of these into the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages, Kratos will be able to fire purple projectiles from his fist.

The reference is undeniable, and a very cool reward for fans who seek it out.
