PAX East isn’t set to fully begin for another week or so, but that hasn’t stopped the release of a few early trailers. Among them is an announcement trailer for a rather interesting old-school adventure title that evokes some serious Blade Runner vibes.
Tales of the Neon Sea is a classic point-and-click title developed by Palm Pioneer. In the debut trailer above, we get a glimpse at the game’s vibrant pixel-art visual style, and a slew of typically murky but enticing locales bathed in the neon lights of a high-tech city.
The game will release this summer on PC and “consoles”, which we’re going to assume also includes PlayStation 4 – they would be crazy not to. Hopefully this one won’t get lost like tears in rain.

Interested in the game but thought the music in the trailer was far more dramatic than what was actually happening on screen. 😏
Oh great... You walk.. And walk. And walk.. Oh you go in a lift... You walk you walk... 😔 💤
Looks nice, but you lost me at point and click I'm afraid. Soz!
Eh, not a fan of the genre or tone. I continue to wait for The Last Night to get my cyberpunk fix.
It looks interesting, reminds me of a similar looking indie game shown at the Xbox E3 presser last year. I can't remember the name of it tho.
Really enjoyed Thimbleweed Park and Oxenfree, so I'll check this out. Nice to have these kinds of games to give me a break between sessions of something like Bloodborne or Monster Hunter World.
@Bigkopman right!?!? Lol
As of the last two years there's been no lack in great cyberpunk games and movies, so this seems to be late to the party.
