And Deviljho is easier than he has ever been sadly. So many nerfed attacks.
Sigh, I still can't beat Kushala Daora.
Found it in Expedition, got it to weakened state but it left the map.-__- Managed to capture it a couple times in Optionals and Investigations. I think he can be quite tough when his body turns red but other than that I think he's easier compared to Bageljuice.
Expect to see him in many varieties of colours with different names through the game.
@PS_Nation Can be a tough one. If you load up on flash pods, knock them down when airborne. Bring extra flashbugs to make more flash pods mid battle. Should help a lot.
@PS_Nation Genuinely took him on last night and ran out of time after getting him down to his last legs. Super frustrating.
@LieutenantFatman Going to try this. Thanks!
@Fight_Teza_Fight No problem, they're worth bringing to all fights, they can really turn the battle for you. Using them just before a monster's big attack or when they're airborne knocks them down for a great opening if timed right.
Equip them with square and worth checking they're equipped before firing as silly things tend to unequip them.
Nice. I had stopped playing this, but I'll return to it later to hunt Deviljho.
That's nice, but after checking out the armor set I don't see the point. Was expecting more than 1 monster in the update, oh well.
@Fight_Teza_Fight I had the same problem, are you trying alone?
@LieutenantFatman Thanks! I will try this.
@munkondi The patch apparently reduces load times across the board, but the notes don't state by how much. Glad to hear it's noticeable, though!
@PS_Nation Yeah I’m going solo. Got pretty close earlier in the day, but ran out of time again.
@Fight_Teza_Fight Yep, Palico with flash cage and carry flash pods with full bag of flash bugs and you can craft them on the run (I head back to camp when I get low when he flies off). Keep at him! His rawr and wind stun is annoying and even at higher rank he can 1-2-3 you.
We can see it coming too with those stuns... "oh no... no, no no no no!" ugh! Stupid dragon.
Flash Pods are so freaking useful. I never hunt without them.
Anyone saying he's too easy... don't forget he's just a high rank monster still. ALL high rank monsters are 'easy' and always have been 'easy' for vets.
His armor set is fairly decent with such high handicraft. His weapons are hit/miss. They would be a lot more 'viable' if the Diablos weapons with non-elemental deco weren't so OP. With augs, some of them have the potential to be very powerful.
@Broosh agreed. He's easier than a good damn anjanath. Use to have so much trouble with him and the black diablos, now they have all become cake walk.
@PS_Nation just flash bomb him constantly even while he is on the ground and it takes away his wife shield.
