Valkyria Chronicles 4 has a fresh Japanese trailer that gives us a quick look at the game's primary cast. They look like a pretty colourful bunch, and the title itself is looking lovely.
Due to launch next month in Japan and later this year here in the West, Valkyria Chronicles 4 marks the series' return to home consoles after a quite a while -- not counting the solid PlayStation 4 remaster of the original Valkyria Chronicles, which released in 2016.

Bring it on, I wonder if they can top the first game.
Looks like a nice grouping of characters. I plan on replaying the first game before this one arrives, looks like I got plenty of time to do it though. Man, I've missed this format and visual design.
I want so bad this game. But I don't know if will pick on ps4 or switch.

Unless you intend to play it in hand held form on the Switch, surely it has to be PS4, this game is going to look so much sharper on PS4.
I need to get back to playing the 1st game again on PS4, I finished it twice on PS3 back in the day, what a thoroughly brilliant title.

I'm playing the absolutely fantastic Valkyria Chronicles Remastered right now. Really looking forward to picking this up.
@Frank90 If it performs well and you play games in handheld mode, then getting it on Switch is a no-brainer, imo.
