If you’re all about girl-on-girl, then the newly announced SNK HEROINES Tag Team Frenzy may catch your eye. Due out on the PlayStation 4 this summer, the title sees SNK’s “iconic” heroines duking it out without a single sausage in sight. It’s a two-on-two fighter, but it sounds like it’s going to be a fairly accessible one, with the press release mentioning that special moves can be triggered with a single button push.
“Once your opponent is on the ropes, utilise your Dream Finish technique to win the match,” the blurb continues. “Spectate on other battles online, and wage on who you think will win using in-game points. Use your winnings to buy voice clips and accessories in an all-new costume system, and customise your favourite heroine to your heart’s content.” Expect this title to get a lot of Dead or Alive-esque add-on packs.
The game will be available both physically and digitally, though the PS4 retail version will be exclusive to the SNK Online Store.
