PlayStation Experience begins properly today, with a string of panels and livestreams straight from California. Sony will be spotlighting its biggest and best first-party developers with a throng of presentations throughout the day, and it’ll also be showing off some of the best gameplay demos from the convention showfloor to fill out time. You’ll be able to watch everything right here, with live text and (sporadic) live blogging.

I know some people may say Uncharted is just jump a bit, shoot a bit, jump a bit, set piece bit, shoot a bit... but I think those games had stronger dialogue, narrative, characters

Doors are not miraculously unlocked when the last enemy dies - doors don't work that way

Some games - especially stealth games - allow you to get through those sections without necessarily killing all

Then have to kill them to open the door they must have come through

Kill him to open a door and suddenly find 10 more enemies have just spawned in for no reason other than to make that section 'longer'

Not all games are like that. Not every game do you have to back track to try and find the last human that was standing in a back corner - not reacting to all the gunshots

From a technical standpoint - I think its great but as a story and characters go, there are so many others in gaming that are so much better

I beat it twice (PS3 and PS4)

I know - each to their own. Its one of the most polished games of last gen

The Narrative was dull and VERY predictable. The world was OK and the game was very polished but the characters had no depth.

Like I said, if you have NO affinity to the characters, the dialogue and story are meaningless so you are left with just the game-play

The point was that over the course of the journey, he grew attached and couldn't see her killed - obvious from the start

But at the start Joel had no affinity to Ellie, only protecting her to get her to where he needed

I think you are meant to feel sorry for him and empathise but there was something about him I couldn't attach with

Sony seem happy to give devs the time to polish and not pushing for 'controversial' aspects like Loot crates or service games

Detroit, for example, isn't my type of game and never liked Cage but the production value is superb and I bet it runs well too

I know I may not like ALL the games but I can appreciate the quality and that for some, these are anticipated highly.

Lets be honest, how many of Sony's games are fundamentally broken or 'bad'?

It does seem that VR games are very prominent at PSX. I know its the one big thing that Sony offers over any other console but its still not for me - YET!

I don't know what time they are (UK) but I may wait for these to be uploaded to youtube separately.

The only things I am really interested in are the Ghosts of Tsushima and the two ND panels.
