Chloe Price and Rachel Amber’s story will come to a conclusion in Life Is Strange: Before the Storm’s third and final episode Hell Is Empty on 20th December. Here’s what publisher Square Enix has had to say about the instalment so far: “As her friendship with Rachel reaches new heights of emotion, Chloe uncovers a dangerous revelation that will require her to find the courage and strength to make some of the toughest decisions of her life.”
A full trailer will be released tomorrow, but there’s a little teaser embedded above. In it, we can see Miss Price is slowly starting to adopt her more rebellious look, with a few strands of blue in her fringe. We’re really eager to see how this one wraps up, because while we’ve thoroughly enjoyed Deck Nine’s prequel thus far, we’re struggling to connect events from this mini-series to the main game.

I really like the prequel so far. So the bonus episode remains, I guess we will see it next year.
@DLB3 It has to, though, right? I can't really say much more without spoiling it for others, but we know Chloe and Rachel's relationship comes to a sudden end, and we know why. Yet the character responsible for it all hasn't even been in the prequel yet.
Only 3 episodes? Didn’t Life is Strange have 5 episodes? Are the prequel episodes each longer at least? I haven’t played any of Before the Storm yet, I was waiting to just play them all together after completion of the series. I’m surprised that its just 3 and done.

Why would that character have to be?
I saw this as "setting the scene" for why Chloe was the person we met in Life Is Strange and why Rachel Amber was so important to her. If it ends with the die being cast, and you can clearly see the direction they are going in, i wouldn't be disappointed.
Kind of like Darth Vader between Revenge of the Sith to A New Hope.
@RPE83 @Sarfa Well, then! I guess that makes sense. I'm curious where this particular story ends, then.

The plus side is that there is now a three year window for a sequel
@RPE83 Indeed! Pretty much what I was thinking.
Hopefully we get news about a physical complete release soon...
