Assassin's Creed Origins' December update is available to download now on PlayStation 4. Weighing in at around 3.2GB, patch 1.10 adds several new features to the surprisingly great open world adventure.
First off, the update brings a horde mode to the table, allowing Bayek to fight off endless waves of enemies in the arena. On top of that, it introduces a new nightmare difficulty for those looking to test their skills. Last but not least, optional enemy scaling lets you boost the level of weaker foes, bringing them up to Bayek's level. A thoughtful addition for endgame players who want earlier locations to still prove a challenge.

I hope they fixed that annoying elephant bug where one of the elephants keep respawning with a full life bar...
Still playing it an enjoying it but I don't think I'll bother with the new features as I'm happy with the challenge of the game as is.
Annoyingly I keep running into a bug where all the icons on the map disappear, meaning I can't fast travel or see quests, among other things. Hopefully that has been fixed.
I think I had 0 bugs yet in my 20+ hour run so far
@mookysam Have you tried pressing the down button?
I just beat the game a few days ago. Definitely in my Top 3 of AC games. Love it.
@Wesker Yep. The only thing that fixes it is turning my PS4 off. Weird!
@mookysam That's annoying. I guessed you would know that the down button cycles the icons appearing on the map, but thought I would check just in case.
Wondering why this patch is 3GB+.
This sounds more like fine tuning and re-using existing assets.
One would think a patch of this size would include actual new areas.
Or maybe they're rolling future DLC into this update...
I am loving the game so far. I just reached level 40 and have completed most of the side quests, Synchronisation points, '?'s' etc. Not sure how far from the 'end' I am of the main story line and still have around 3-4 areas to 'de-fog' too. I have fully maxed out all my 'gear' - things like hidden-blade damage, quiver and tool bag etc so don't need to do any more 'hunting' for resources - although those can help increase my Drachmas now. My main weapons are also level 40 now too.
Its taken me hours and hours (60 so far) to get to this point and still feel like I am only half way through....
I am loving it so much. 40+ hrs into it and still plenty of places I did not touch yet
So glad they added enemy scaling!! Just beat the story on Sunday and am in the process of going back and mopping up the side missions I bypassed and was wishing they were more of a challenge!! This will make going back worthwhile!!
Think l'll wait for the goty.
I like that check mark they added to "?" that u have completed. Helps when looking for things in an area u haven't completed yet. This game really surprised me, I didn't think it would be this good. I love the new combat, I hope the next one sticks with what they have done with this one. Also like how interesting the side quests are. Best AC imo.
@q9j9p Ubisoft never releases physical GOTY/Complete Editions for Assassin's Creed games.
Unless you meant wait for the digital Gold Edition to go on sale.
had heaps of fun with it over 2-3 weeks, waiting for the dlc before I jump back in again, still got some of the map to uncover an a few tombs to complete
@ToddlerNaruto
Really? Gold Edition on sale then maybe.
@q9j9p Seriously. There are limited, special, and collector's edition, but none of them have all of the DLC.
This new 1.10 patch isn't downloading. Anyone experiencing any similar issue?
